Author Guidelines

The journal receives all manuscript submissions electronically via OJS-Open Journal Systems. OJS allows for rapid submission of original and revised manuscripts and facilitates the review process and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material from other sources. As an author, you are required to secure permission if you want to reproduce any figure, table, or extract from the text of another source.

Article Types
The journal accepts research articles and review articles.

File Format
The papers will be published in PDF format, but authors must submit in Microsoft Word or Rich Text Format (RTF) formats.

Layout and Style
Authors should use the online template (dotx, docx, rtf). A LaTeX template is also available (tex). Please mind following the Chicago Manual of Style to format the references and citations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Ensure that all tables are submitted in text format, not as images.
  • Ensure that all figures and tables have captions.
  • Ensure that the list of references is complete, all references have an in-text citation and vice versa, and follow the instructions provided on the Author Guidelines.
  • Authors should acknowledge any financial support to their research.
  • Ensure that any material with copyright has been authorized by the owner.
  • Authors are obliged to provide retractions or correction of any mistakes, in case of detection.
  • Where available, DOIs (or URLs) for the references have been provided.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  2. Authors grant the journal the right to provide the article in all forms and media to be used on the latest technology even after publication and ensure its long-term preservation.
  3. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal.
  4. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
